Games Management Contract

 

 

Know all men by these presents:

 

This agreement entered into this _____ day of _________________ in _______________________, Philippines, by and between:

 

The Department of Education Basketball Referees Association (DEBRA), Inc., an association duly registered under Philippine Laws through the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue, with principal/chapter address in __________________________________________, herein represented by ____________________________ herein after referred as the party of the first part.

 

And

 _________________________________________________________________represented by _________________    as his duly authorized representative herein after referred to as the ORGANIZER.

 

W i t n e s s e t h

 

Whereas, the party of the first part is a registered Referee Association composed of duly accredited and licensed Basketball Referees:

 

Whereas, the ORGANIZER desirous to get the services of Licensed Basketball Officials and the latter agrees to provide the former the aforementioned game officials subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

A.    That the ORGANIZER agrees to pay the party of the first part the total amount of ________________________________________ (Php ___________) as specified in the attached breakdown.

 

B.    That the ORGANIZER agrees to pay the party of the first THIRTY PERCENT (30%) of the total amount upon signing this contract/before the start of the tournament.

 

C.    That the remaining SEVENTY PERCENT (70%) shall be paid at the middle of the tournament (equivalent to 50% of the total number of games).

 

D.   That the party of the first part shall report to the game venues at least TWENTY (20) MINUTES before the scheduled gametime, properly dressed/uniformed, physically fit and as a true professional.

 

E.    That the ORGANIZER shall pay in full forfeited games and or cancelled games due to fortuitous events during the FIRST HALF of play and postponed games without due notice of at least ONE (1) day before the scheduled game. However, cancelled games in the SECOND HALF will be continued when re-scheduled with no Additional pay to the game officials.

 

F.     That the ORGANIZER shall provide adequate security and accommodations to the game officials.

 

G.   That the party of the first may withdraw and or cancel this contract, if the safety of the game officials is threatened/can’t be assured by the ORGANIZER.

 

In WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties herein have affixed their signatures on the date and place first above-mentioned.
